Director

Eddy brings over 24 years’ experience in the aviation sector to his role as Director of Ascend’s global consultancy, industry analysis, asset valuation, and technical services. He is a trusted advisor to Ascend clients and his most recent engagements have involved supporting the leading airframe and engine manufacturers, operating lessors, and financial institutions.

Eddy is a regular conference speaker and a visiting lecturer at the Air Business Academy in Toulouse, specialising in aircraft values, market dynamics, and asset management.

Academic qualifications include a BSc. (Hons.) Degree in Environmental Science from Westfield College, University of London.

Director of Valuations and Appraisals

As Head of Valuations and Appraisals, Les' primary responsibility is the development of Ascend’s Future Values databases, covering commercial aircraft, engines, simulators and spares.  Les is also responsible for the valuation and appraisal of aircraft of all types and provides support and analysis on all industry matters relating to values and market dynamics.

Head of Market Analysis

With more than 20 years’ aviation experience, Chris has responsibility for many of Ascend’s comprehensive market studies, covering a wide variety of aircraft types. He also performs appraisals of commercial aircraft and prepares the company’s forecast of aircraft deliveries. Chris is a specialist in helicopter valuations.

Senior Analyst

Tony has worked in the consultancy arm of Ascend for over 10 years, where he specialises in the appraisal of executive, helicopter and general aviation aircraft. Tony is a Certified ISTAT (International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading) Appraiser.

Senior Analyst

Olga is responsible for the appraisal of commercial aircraft portfolios and bespoke market studies. Prior to joining Ascend in December 2004, Olga held a number of executive posts within the commercial aviation industry, including positions at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Avmark. 

Olga holds an MBA in Aviation (with Distinction) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Olga speaks Russian, English, German, and Spanish.

Senior Aviation Analyst

George joined Ascend in 2005, having previously worked for Airbus and United Airlines in various roles. He focuses mainly on aircraft and engine valuations, but also writes regular updates on the latest state of the aviation marketplace. George holds a degree in Air Transport Engineering from City University in London.

Statistical Analyst

Shamin joined Ascend in 2006 from HSBC. Shamin is responsible for the production of Ascend’s future value forecasts and AARQ (Ascend Asset Risk Quantifier). She holds a BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics from Kings College, London and a Diploma in Actuarial Science.

Aviation Analyst

Gary is responsible for producing bespoke market analysis and detailed market commentaries at Ascend. Gary joined the valuations and appraisals team in 2006 from Penna Consulting, where he was a member of the Senior Directors Unit. Gary’s previous roles include posts at UBS Investment Bank and American Airlines. Gary holds an MA in Business Administration from the University of Miami and a BSc in Aeronautics & Astronautics, and a BSc in Music from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Yvonne Moeller
Aviation Analyst

Since joining Ascend in 2007, Yvonne has supported the aircraft finance and airport economics consulting teams. Yvonne provides aircraft and engine valuations, conducts detailed market studies and has produced an engine and aircraft maintenance database. She also contributes to Ascend’s quarterly publication V1ewpoint and has supported Ascend’s New York office in business development as a consultancy representative.

Yvonne has experience of managing teams in London, Hong Kong and Germany and prior to joining Ascend, she worked in various roles for Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg and Hong Kong.

Yvonne holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Dresden in Germany, and is fluent in English and German.

Graduate Analyst

Chris joined Ascend as a member of the data team in May 2007, before moving to the company's 12-month Management Development Programme six months later.

Chris is responsible for monitoring sales and transactions. He also updates historic aircraft values and matrices, as well as aircraft speficiation modifier values used in the valuations database. Alongside valuations, Chrish is updating Ascend's information on Full Flight Simulators (FFS).

Chris holds a BSc in Air Transport Management with a Diploma in Industrial Studies (DIS) from Loughborough University.


Radka Rana
Graduate Analyst

Radka joined Ascend in January 2008 after working for leading Danish management consultancy, Ramboell Management A/S, as an intern and project assistant.

Radka supports the Product Development, Airport Economics, and Consultancy teams at Ascend. Her main focus is to perform different levels of valuations for commercial jets, turboprops and engines. She also contributes to writing on key market developments for the quarterly updated Market Commentaries.

Radka holds a BSc in Economics and Business Administration, and a MSc in Financial and International Business from Aarus School of Business. She speaks Bulgarian, English, German and Danish.

Graduate Analyst

Lukasz joined Ascend in Ocotber 2007, after working as a Project Analyst for Goldstone Network Ltd., a start-up company based in London.

Lukasz supports both the Consultancy and Product Development teams at Ascend. He is responsible for publishing the semi-annual International Aircraft Price Guide. Lukasz's main focus is delivering market studies, as well as contributing to Ascend's suite of Market Commentaries.

Lukasz holds a degree in Economics from the University of Freiburg, and speaks Polish, English, German and Spanish.
